Vanguard Systems is a senior engineering studio based in Porto, Portugal. We were founded on a simple principle: the person who scopes your project should be the person who builds it.
Our founder has over a decade of production experience — from managing departments of 21 engineers at one of Europe's largest hosting providers, to building real-time transport platforms processing thousands of daily journeys, to shipping enterprise software for clients including McLaren.
We bring in specialist engineers when a project calls for it. But every engagement is led by a senior engineer who owns the outcome end-to-end.

We've spent over a decade shipping production software. Enterprise automotive platforms. Large-scale ecommerce migrations. Payment systems. Healthcare tools. AI integrations before "AI-first" was a pitch deck buzzword.
